This is my first screenprinted shirt I did at school last year for graphic arts class. It has a cute Jenny on it, which I drew with Illustrator.

Jenny IS cute. :) !!

Because I work at a newspaper, I'll advise you:

Any Jenny T's that you make must be given away free. You can't make any money from them. That infringes on the copyrights that Rob Renzetti, Frederator Studios and Nickelodeon have on her and "MLaaTR" in general. They haven't given you a license to sell a product with Jenny on it -- even "cute" Jenny here.

The same applies to the T's with the modified Gwen CD-cover image and the Legion of Lowtide.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'd think that ONE T of each could be considered artwork. Still, I'm certain that you cannot profit from them.

But Jenny IS cute ... :)

Uhmm, she can sell it, because it's a fan Work and it's not the original styl of Jenny, also I can't see " My life as a teenage Robot " so there is no (c) , becaus eit's a singel producion and no a mass producion, so he/she can sell it everywhere buw not in a store, if he/she wants to sell it in a store he/she needs a (c) right ;)

Oh and I am sure Rob would be happy for very Fanwork we do for his great cartoon

I'm a 50-year-old newspaper editor. We sometimes know a few things about copyrights. :) First of all: It doesn't matter whether your shirt actually says, "My Life as a Teenage Robot." Jenny's image alone is copyrighted.

But XjSider IS right that you could sell the one shirt to someone as an artwork (specifically). No problem.

But IF you ever make more: A man who runs a Virginia anime convention -- where unlicensed products are seized, by the way -- said that after TWO shirts, it's viewed legally that you're mass-producing the T's. That's when you'd HAVE to have a license. If you stop at two, there's no problem. )

XjSider is also absolutely right that Rob Renzetti would be happy for the Jenny fan work. But if you try to sell 100 Jenny shirts without him -- the creator -- being compensated, he wouldn't be as happy.

So I'd stop after your T here and another T for a friend. (It's a great design, as I said.) And we all want you to stay out of trouble. Enjoy two shirts. Just stop there. :)

Thanks,
George P. :)
